RAW

The Miz
Let's first be fair and say I haven't watched a single second of rasslin' since Shawn Michaels last match. So I don't know how he's been handled or what his current status is (I'm a little surprised he'd be listed as a main eventer). Having said that, he really made improvements by leaps and bounds while in a tag team with John Morrison. He's always seemed to me to be a strong company man, willing to do what it took. He certainly has the look, if not the size, so I'm happy to hear they're giving another look to the smaller folks. Overall, provided he's been booked well, I think he has the ability and the tenacity to be a Main Eventer.

John Cena
Yes. Like him, love him, hate him - he's been the lightning rod of the entire industry for years now. He's never had an impressive move list, but so often many of the top names don't (see: Hogan, Rock) and even more narrow down their move list once they reach the top (see: Austin, Taker). And that's fine. Other than a punch, it really pays to have certain moves associated with you, it provides great chances for the audience to pop. I have to admit, I've been a mark of Cena since I realized just how damn much he loves this industry. He's a great company man who I believe still to this day wakes up every morning loving what he does. Plus, at this point, after the way he's been historically booked, he can't be anything less than one of the big dawgs.

Randy Orton
He's so hot and cold it makes me miserable. I feel like he gets how to be over like rover, but he just doesn't care to perfect his skills. He's not been "the man" so I think if he's not careful he could easily slip down to upper midcard purgatory. I always felt he had the raw natural ability to be the biggest name in wrestling over the next 20 years...well we're almost like 10 years into that "next 20 years" thing and he has been good, at times he's been great, but he always seems to fall just shy of fulfilling his promise.

Wade Barrett
I have no idea who this is...

Triple H
K4L.

Batista
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Batista left WWE to try and get a career in MMA going and was at one point close to signing with StrikeForce. Is he back in WWE currently?

Sheamus
I'm sure he's a great guy, and a hard worker...but I never saw anything out of him in his first year with the company that made me think was deserving of the push he received. His match at Mania with Hunter was good, but who doesn't have good matches with Hunter? Plus, he is going to suffer over the long term of being pushed too high too fast. When someone works their way up over years, they can jump to non-World Title matches and it's ok. If they get rushed to the belt, once their not champ, they usually flounder. And his gimmick...common...so no, I don't think he deserves to be in the main event.

CM Punk
I like Punk, I'm glad to see him be treated in WWE with the appreciation he deserves. I was very afraid before he came in he would be misused. And thus far, his career in the E has been what he deserves it to be.

SmackDown!

Kane
I don't know that it's fair to continue to list Kane as Main Eventer simply because he's been a top guy for so long. WWE has always had this sense of "we can come back to him" and they let him float adrift. I love Kane, but WWE has made it clear (at least in my eyes) that he's a perma-upper-Midcarder. He deserves better, but I doubt he'll ever get it.

The Undertaker
He's the Undertaker. OF COURSE he's a legit Main Eventer.

Jack Swagger
No. He's never impressed me. I've tried to understand the appeal. It's just lost on me. I wouldn't want to see him anywhere near the IC or US belt, let alone a World Title.

Edge
He's earned his stripes, and quietly amassed what I believe to be the greatest career of any active wrestler today. His matches, feuds, and title reigns speak for themselves. It's odd because I feel he's often times overlooked as an active icon, but in the last decade, who could you say had a better kayfabe career than him? Plus he's got the skills to pay the bills.

Chris Jericho
I love Jericho. I will always love Jericho. the last time I saw him was when he beat Edge at Mania...if someone told me he still had the belt and was getting a Cena-esque push, I'd love you for it.

Rey Mysterio
No. No disrespect, I value Rey's contributions to this business, but he is not a main eventer on the largest company in the industry. Sorry.
