Not even the black community, but Michael Jackson fans in general. Doesn't matter if they're black or white.

Some people look at Benoit and either separate his work from what he did or make up ridiculous theories so that he's not so horrible in their mind. Michael Jackson fans would have been even more insane and ridiculous about it, more because of his amount of fans versus Benoit than anything else.
