As far as no unprotected weapon shots to the head goes, I believe it is a big step in the right direction. These atheletes do not need to get a concussion just to entertain us. I will be the first to admit that from a fan stand point.. I miss the chair shots to the head, and the powerbombs and piledrivers... and who wouldnt? They are high impact moves that are entertaining to watch.But from a guy who works in the business and knows first hand what it is like to live the live of a performing athlete, I think it is a good business decision to solidify the longevity of your performers, thus, creating more profit generated from each individual due to more in ring time. Simply put, the more time you can have a healthy guy in the ring, the more money you will make off of him.
