That's the point though. In a never ending world of storylines that go on and on without rest, if things don't happen right away, and a few months are allowed to pass by it does not have the same meaning.

Using your example of Miz/Morrison. They held off on it, yeah. But by the time it came about, their history together was pretty much just something for the commentators to note, rather than part of the story.
