A lot of Matt Hardy's potential main event runs were cut short. Mattitude could have taken him higher; his return in 2005 should have taken him higher; his feud with MVP could have taken him higher; he could have received a better push when Jeff left (it would have been natural for Matt to try and avenge his brother). But Matt doesn't know the right way to go about things. Plus, he didn't take the time he needed from his surgeries and stuff to really stay in shape.

Still, the more time that passes, and it just becomes clearer and clearer Matt Hardy is a complete mark for himself. Hardy really could have helped usher in a wave of new talent, but instead he wants to bitch about how he should be getting pushed to the top. Yeah, there may be a point in there, but guys like Christian and such go to work and do their job, and hopefully it pays off for them in time.
