2000, then a toss-up between '01 and '10. 2000 was probably the last great year in WWE history. 2001 was a very good year that was unfortunately marred by the bungling of what could have been the greatest angle in the history of the industry, and WWE spent the better part of the decade trying - and failing - to make up for all that lost goodwill.

2010 was definitely the start of something good, though. From the epic HBK/UT story through the formation of the Nexus, the revitalization of Kane, the dawning of the Era Of Awesome, as well as tons of other greatness, it was a year that - while far from perfect - was a big step in the right direction.
