I'm surprised the guy taking it didn't break his neck. The fall was not broken at ALL by the table.

Apparently, they're doing this as part of a contest - a scavenger hunt. The challenge was to get slammed through a wood table. Couldn't they just have body slammed him from the ground? Or the roof if they wanna be idiots? If you do a bodyslam and get it right, the guy taking it lands flat on his back/arms/feet onto the table, it's probably nowhere near as painful as that.
