King had wanted 50%. Cuban had wanted all or nothing. Not sure what the others wanted. All the while, the Wilpons kept saying they only wanted to sell 25% of the team and that they had no intention of selling all of it.

I can see why they'd all decide to team up though. An overwhelming offer could get the Wilpons to budge, and Cuban might realize that there is no way in hell the other owners would let him own a team by himself.
