Cornette's own promotion called Smoky Mountain Wrestling was a fun one to watch during the early 90's from 1992-95

had some big names in there over the few yrs it was open

and he was a fairly good booker

Cornette has a brilliant mind for this business and his shoot interviews are always hilarious

especially his first one from 2000 and the one he did with Bobby Heenan
