My guess would be that Jim Cornette is not well off, just based on common sense. I'm sure he's made a decent living but I highly doubt he's sitting pretty and doesn't have to worry about ever making money again in his life.

From everything I have read and heard about him, is that Jim Cornette is one of the southern boys. He would hit the roads with everyone else, drink hard and get riled up and cuss people out (probably why he doesn't like HHH who doesn't do that kind of stuff).

Something tells me that he pissed away a lot of his money with the other guys out partying. I heard he has cleaned up since then. But that is money spent. So I'm inclined to agree with Jeri here. Cornette might have a nest egg, but not enough to not work ever again.
