I don't believe the whole "saving the paychecks" shtick about Sting. Hogan, yes. Bischoff, definitely. Flair, absolutely. But Sting, I highly doubt that.

The saving paychecks line wasn't meant to be a shot at Sting, it's that at this point in his career Sting is worthless on tv as far as getting viewers, I am sure he is amazing backstage with the talent, but does not mean shit for ratings and popularity. Kurt Angle is done, the best thing going in TNA in an angle with Double fuckin' J! You do this type of angle after Kurt has established TNA and just to keep him relevant while the younger guys take the title scene.
