The REAL reason for all this is that wrestling fans, alot of 'em, are STUPID.

They'll bitch and moan about wanting something to get done, such as bring in a particular wrestler, or having a particular guy be pushed, and as soon as they "get their wish", so to speak, they'll criticize the company for doing whatever they (the fans) asked for in the first place, or they'll turn on the guy they wanted to see get a push in the first place.

Fans bitched and moaned FOR YEARS about wanting to see Bret Hart back in the WWE. Last year, Bret came back, and what did we read and hear? "Bret looks old", "Bret can't walk", "Bret looks like Ozzy Osbourne", "He's a sell-out", and all sorts of garbage.

Also, FOR YEARS fans wanted to see The Rock back in WWE. Now he's back, and what are we reading and hearing? "He's not funny anymore", "He just says the same things over and over", "He's back but he'll surely leave us again", etc.

And we see it alot with guys who fans go like, "He should be Champion", and as soon as WWE gives them the belt, fans will boo the guy and cheer for whoever is facing him, in hopes of him losing the title.

You just CAN'T please the fans. It's "damned if you do, damned if you don't".
