I really like it. Feels like a game I couldn't play in really long bursts after the "newness" wears off, but it's really enjoyable.
Definitely miles ahead of the stale SvR gameplay. I could even see them adapting this engine to a sim. Obviously with better graphics and slower, less exaggerated gameplay. Or at the very least take some of the concepts, like the way moves transition and flow.
That's honestly the greatest thing about that. While I'm still getting a hang of the controls, the transitions and flow of a match makes it really fun to look at.
And the slow motion doesn't hurt the game nearly as much as I thought. I'd still like to see an option to turn it off, but it isn't really a flow killer like I had expected.
