Having watched a ton of tourneys over the past few weeks, I just hope it might encourage people to try out somebody besides Sent. Like I said a while ago, I'm sure its mostly because his combos are so easy and his damage is so ridiculous, but I really want to see some new team dynamics. The only characters I've yet to see used in tourney are Thor, Jill, and Viper AFAIK. Haven't seen much of Ryu either; he seems to be outclassed by Akuma in almost every way.
But its a fun game to watch for sure. And character exploration takes time, I know. Have been really happy with the amount of characters from SSFIV I've seen in the past few months. Even managed to see a Hakan get 3rd Place in singles at Marvel Madness.
