They closed last years Wrestlemania with a non-title match and it was absolutely the correct decision.

Furthermore, there were other years in which a non-title match should have closed. Wretslemania 18 and Wrestlemania 25 immediately come to mind.
The title matches were fine, but the suffered because they had to follow massive matches and the crowd just didn't care anymore.

That's wrestling. It has nothing to do with shitting on the world title. Even the participants in those matches will admit they shouldn't have been going on last. No matter how prestigious or well booked a title is, some things trump it and a confrontation like Rock/Hogan or Shawn/Taker is on that level.

I would argue that The Undertaker's streak is at a point where it's not only way more meaningful than any current title, but perhaps more than any title ever.
That's just where it's at.
Triple H/Taker isn't as big to me as those other matches, though. I think Cena/Miz/Rock is the main event.
But I certainly don't think having Taker's match against someone the caliber of HHH close the show is shitting on anything.
