I remember that he brought the Stanley Cup to my school when I was in Grade 8 after the Nordiques won the cup. During the lockout, he did work in home renovations here around town.

Another in the long line of top NHL officials to come out of Guelph. On that note, Andy VanHellamond was elected to city council during the latest municipal election back in the fall.
The Nordiques? The Nords didn't win until they became the Avalanche.
