They don't make money OVER a title change...because frankly, no one knows the title is going to change (aside from people that read internet spoilers, and even then, it's not a guarantee) until after it's happened, so that bit is rather  at best. |
Thats why I said it would be fine if they had Austin stun Cena for the troops only, but to air it, and make Cena look like a bitch to a guy who is a cunt hair away from being crippled is pretty stupid.
Back to the US title, If people think Cena is going to win the US title at RR and they like Cena, then they are more likely to order the show. Thats the whole thing, you build up something, make people want it, give it to them (for a price) and then make them want to see something else. To give it away last night would have been a waste of potential money.
