at the 3rd disc being considered a "best" since that is the downfall disc but a good selection of matches.

I doubt it because WCW rarely treated their second show as good or with importance as Vince did with Smackdown.

The Rise and Fall of WCW book has a lot of jokes and instances of how badly managed Thunder was and how it made Nitro look much better in comparison.
