The Ace Venturas, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber were funny. He was great in the In Living Color series. I wasn't a fan of some of his other stuff.
In general, he's pretty funny though. I think he tries to hard to do more serious roles, and wants to be taken seriously and all that, so he keeps doing shitty movies.
