Almost all Reality TV is made and scripted on the edit table. The situations are scripted, but the reactions aren't. With a skilled editor, you can make any situation / repercussion the way you want it to be.

That being said, episode 5 was a decent watch, save for Mysterio's 2 bit part in the show. The problem is that its getting too formulaic. So you have recap, day start training, life lesson, skills training & challenge, deliberation & elimination. Need to rework the format in such a way that it remains fresh.
