Anyways, Jim Carrey has some good movies, but he's nowhere near the comedic "genius" he's cracked up to be. I've enjoyed quite a few of his movies...

Once Bitten
Liar Liar
The Cable Guy (Though he was over the top...I mostly watched it because I like Broderick)
Bruce Almighty
I didn't see all of Man on the Moon, but I liked his performance from what I saw.

Most of his other movies, I didn't like. I haven't seen the majestic. My brother wasn't impressed, that's all I can say.

Here's the problem with him or any other modern-day superstar--Typecasting. I should say one problem. He can't break away from that Ace Ventura style character, whether ot not he actually WANTS to. His fans, the people who flew in droves to see that, basically wants to see that from him every time. The rest of the world hates him, because they expect that act again.

Think the "I didn't do it" Episode of the Simpsons. Bart tries to make himself more than a one liner, and Conan O'Brian tells him to just say the damn line.
