This is kind of what ruins Wrestlemania for me now. It's so far beyond Wrestling, that the actual quality of the show doesn't really matter anymore, it's all about the 'bigness' or the 'spectacle'. If they can fill out an arena and break a world record, then that will probably become a priority over actually making the show itself good.

Exactly my fears. Just going to not assume the worst just yet! Though you're wrong on your last point about it being knocked of the card or something.
