One thing I haven't noticed anyone mentioning is how you can just take your time with each case (so you never feel rushed to solve any of them) and free roam to unlock new vehicles, find golden film reels and discover landmarks. Granted, that's not a lot of "misc." activity, but '47 L.A. in the game is fucking massive.
