David Einhorn is brilliant. The deal is $200 million for 33% of the team. However - in three years time he can either become the principal owner of the team at 60%, or the Wilpons must return his $200 million investment while letting him keep the 33%.

So either he becomes the majority owner or he gets to own a third of the team for free. Fantastic deal.
