Series trivia:

- Kamiya noted that his successor on the franchise, Itsuno (DMC3, DMC4) is mistakenly associated with DMC2. Most of the game was made under another director and Itsuno came late in development to salvage the game (it was much worse).
- Kamiya gave Itsuno advice during DMC3 development.
- Kamiya isn't fond of what Ninja Theory has done so far after seeing the trailer for DmC.
