I buy it. Lots of angles where Kane actually hears laught that no one else does and misunderstands situations that leads him to believe he's being betrayed or made fun of when he isnt. Lots of self-loathing which gets misdirected at those around him, heel & face alike.
Very interesting and very well thought out. I'm not sure the WWE writers are capable of that or (even sadder) maybe they feel that they're audience is incapable of understanding this kind of storyline.
