If that Rib story is real, the best thing for Ryder to do is take it on the chin and keep doing what he does. Vince will eventually respect a guy who takes his whippings. That being said, that's a cruel joke. Like telling a five year old you got them a puppy, then handing them a bag with a dead puppy in it.
