I noticed today that a random Notepad file named "hs_err_pid2536" as appeared on my desktop.

I think it might have something to do with Java as I remember the file wasn't there before I installed recent Java updates, but it is now. I haven't opened the file just incase is some sort of virus but I'm just curious if anyone knows what it is and if it's a necessity to have if it's not a virus.
