Excellent Games That Caught You Off-Guard
Tell us about some games that you went into with low expectations, and were blown away.

NecroVision: In no way did I expect this game to be as utterly insane as it is. World War One trench warfare, zombies, vampires, riding on the back of dragons, demons, giant robots. It's the kind of retardedly good fun you'd get in an old-fashioned game, but with modern graphics.

Trine: I wasn't expecting a lot from a two-dimensional side-scroller, but it's actually incredible. There are a lot of different ways to solve each problem, and it forces you to be creative. The visuals are also excellent.
