Yeah but my point was that before Austin and Rock shot to fame, there was no attitude era. They were still working in the child friendly almost cartoonish world with Clowns, Dentists etc. Austin's character started the attitude era movement. If Batista wanted to go in that vain then he had a great chance because the 'attitude era' was well established and the audience was already there for him to play with. Stone Cold made such a bang with 'Austin 3:16' that he helped change the WWF audience to TV-14. Im not saying Batista sucked because he couldn't emulate Stone Cold, i just think its rich that he blames PG when he was already in the WWE before the Pg rating came in and therefore had his chance to make his mark. He didnt however. He was an average wrestler, quite decent for a guy his size, but his mic work was sub par and only picked up when it was too late.
