Remember how in The Dark Knight Bruce Wayne had to sacrifice his Lamborghini to save Mr. Reese? Well as one might expect, the millionaire playboy was well insured and in The Dark Knight Rises he is sporting a new “Lambo.” Batman-News has some shots of Batman’s alter ego’s new ride and it’s a pip, a 2012 Lamborghini Aventador that was photographed outside of Wollaton Hall, which is standing in for stately Wayne Manor in the new film.

While there are some reports around that The Dark Knight Rises helmer Christopher Nolan wanted to get the car in black, but could only get silver, that hardly seems likely. Given the budget of The Dark Knight Rises, a re-paint for the car would be insignificant, far less than the budget for watercress sandwiches at tea time.
