Frankly I'm shocked Beltran is in the starting lineup. Def figured Votto would DH. Bet the NY papers speculate that Bochy is trying to appease Beltran to get him to waive his no trade clause.
Votto and Gaby Sanchez are the only 1B's on the bench so it makes sense that they didn't put Joey as the DH.
