I think it's pretty good considering it's TNA. It makes some kind of sense and it's more interesting than his normal TNA schtick. I mean sure, his acting's a bit hammy but no shit, it's professional wrestling. I've said it before but if he'd have come into WWE for a program with Taker leading into Mania with that character and the WWE production machine behind it, it could have been brilliant.
