You forgot about Kurt Angle as a challenger for the WWE title. I think that as soon as Angle returns to wrestling he will beat Eddie for the title. Their feud is not over IMO. Also as Cynick mentioned on another thread, Rob Van Dam could feud with Eddie in a face vs face feud which will eventually lead to RVD turning heel and winning the title in the progress
