He is pretty much exactly the same as every other "reporter" on wrestling sites. This isn't a good thing, but certainly not a reason to flame him especially.
I do think the bogus links are incredibly lame. But if you're a wrestling fan and you haven't figured out by now that they're BS you deseve the sites/pop-ups.
