Alot of ppl hate 4 and 5, but I think at the time, RE needed more interactive games. Both 4 and 5 had great stories in them and advanced the gameplay more. Not to mention, gave the franchise a different look and feel.
I do admit I loved the actual zombies and mutated creatures in RE1, RE2, RE3, and RE:Code Veronica. And the puzzles featured in them were awesome.
But what I want is a combination of the two game types. Having elements of all the games would be a perfect game to me. RE6 will definately be on my to watch list for the TGS...
