What strikes me stupid, is that they obviously didn't have a problem nailing some notable acts. It would have been nothing at all to lessen disc releases and increase DLC, in fact that would have saved them money. Who thought is was a good idea to release a Van Halen game? What 'market research' concluded that to be a good move?
And then the old non-transferable setlist thing, that they tried to do but failed at. And certain DLC not playable between games (which was absurd). And toward the end they had some decent ideas (Party Play was elegant and awesome), but they burned themselves out. Shame, their note charts started getting better too.
