Smith was rushed through his development years and suffered for it. I agree, I dont doubt he can get some work in Japan and really find himself.

Hes only 25. That means he was what, 21 when he was first called up and suspended.

Hes not even in his prime yet. If he can keep working, he can have a chance to come back.

Think of it this way....If they thought Kidd had more to offer, he needs some work.
