I hope theres some sort of Batman curse on the Steelers.
Quote:
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers returned to training camp for an afternoon practice after briefly going rogue on Saturday. About a dozen Steelers suited up as members of the fictitious Gotham Rogues against the Rapid City Monuments in "The Dark Knight Rises," the new Batman movie that's currently filming in Pittsburgh.Thousands of black and gold-clad extras were recruited to play football fans in Saturday's stadium scene at Heinz Field. A Rogues logo was painted on the 50-yard line, and "Steelers" was replaced by "Gotham Rogues" in the home end zone. The fans saw Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward wearing his usual No. 86 jersey -- for Gotham instead of Pittsburgh -- and former coach Bill Cowher making his return to the Heinz Field sidelines, playing a Rogues coach.Other players included quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Willie Colon, Troy Polamalu, Heath Miller, Ike Taylor, Ryan Clark, Aaron Smith and Brett Keisel."It'll be a fun, neat experience for us," said Roethlisberger, who joked that his teammates may need Screen Actors Guild cards now."Hopefully, I'll make the cut," Smith said. "Batman's the best superhero. He's awesome." Bill Cowher as a Gotham Rogues football coach in "The Dark Knight Rises."
