Well, they can tweak it so one of the boxers mentors a wrestler, allowing the WWE figure to compete in the match. Cena only mentioned it, pretty sure 99% of the ideas thrown at them are tweaked by the writers.

A) Do you really assume it will be a real boxing match?
B) They can set it at a 3 or 4 round limit if it ends up being real (Which I doubt).
