Toy Soldiers: Cold War

Fun little Ecks Blah game. A sequel to Toy Soldiers, it's a pretty similar concept. Army men meets tower defense.

The first one was pretty good, and this one throws out more content. I think I've spent more time on this one than any other Non-retail release (And a lot of retail releases) of late.

This game does the flavour almost perfectly. Taking over your turrets and controlling wind-up and RC vehicles is pretty fun, too.

There's only like 12 maps, but there's co-op, versus, survival, and minigames to round shit out. Plus, it's probably going to take a while to get golds on all those. The prior game had DLC, so this one will probably expand some, too.

But honestly, I think the main game is worth it alone.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
