Yeah. In WWE, outside of a few "finishers" when people tend to kick out of finishers, it's a big deal. When Punk kicked out of the pedigree, that actually meant something. When HBK kicked out of the tombstone, it was a huge deal.

Plus, it had been hyped up. Both men had something important on the line. Taker is someone you sort o expect to survive a finisher or two, and Michaels was fighting for his career. I mean, at the end, Michaels could barely stand, and the only reason Taker had to put him away was that Michaels WILL NOT DI...Sorry, wrong wrestler.

In the end, it was kinda like this:



It's not like Stevie Richards was kicking out of ten tombstones. It was an awesome match because it was special, unique, something you won't see often. And that's why I tuned in. I knew that, with this being the "end" of HBK's career, they'd pull out all the stops.
