Cersei got what she fucking deserved. Jaime burning the letter she sent him was just one final 'fuck you'. Can't wait to see how she tries to get out of it (and hopefully fails). Will be so happy if she gets what is coming to her. She deserves to get flayed and publicly humiliated, tbh.
SPOILER: show
I dunno. I don't think Cersei is going to get hers anytime soon. Maybe she gets roughly handled by the church a bit but she still has to fulfill the wood witch's prophecy regarding the younger Queen taking away everything from her. I think this incident is only going to serve to push her all the way over the edge

Also, there's thewhole thing with Qyburn and what I assume is a re-animated version of the Mountain that Rides. I'm figuring that Ser Loras dies of his wounds and somehow this (undead?) version of the Mountain gets promoted to the King's Guard and she makes use of him in a trial by combat..

Also. Just gonna say that I really like Jaime, even though he was a sister fucker. His character is just so good. Like, you hate him at first for being a Lannister, and there's this really negative connotation about being a Kingslayer. But then you get to find out why he did it, and he goes through a gradual transformation into this really likable person. He is really one of the most honorable characters in the books if you cast aside the incest part. Really takes his role on the Kingsguard really seriously when it comes down to it. He realizes that humanity is as much a part of honor as anything. Killing the mad king was dishonorable on the surface, but when you've witnessed such atrocities as he did, it makes more sense to deal with it instead of standing idly by for some false sense of honor. There's no honor in protecting someone so cruel and insane. Losing his hand really made him a lot more humble, and going back after Brienne was just one of those things that made me really like him. Then, giving her the sword 'Oathkeeper' and sending her out to find Sansa for good reasons instead of evil. Just think he is a really great character. His story was fleshed out really nicely, and he isn't as bad as you think he is when the book/show first started.
SPOILER: show
Same. The fleshing out of his back story and personality was probably my favourite part of the 4th book. But now that I want him to stick around and fully redeem himself I can't help but figure that this is going to be one of those tragic stories where he only finally completely redeems himself in death. .
