I don't think GSP is going to want to stand with Diaz. I see George trying to use his wrestling early and often not only because it is likely the most effective way to fight Diaz, but because it will frustrate the hell out of him.

Dana said that Condit would get "the next guy" (i.e., the winner of Diaz/GSP). Koscheck's only just getting back and he's already fought Ellenberger. Fitch might be the most deserving, but Rumble is definitely more intriguing.
