I'm liking his slow build, really. From the second generation rookie with Hardcore Holly to getting the rub with Legacy. Then starting out on his own, going from dashing to undashing, he's made it all work. And he's improved, both in the ring and on the mic.
Cody should continue his ascension to the top over the next few years. He could be a legit player in one of the Mania 30 main events. There's still plenty for him as he moves up, finds his groove and continues to let WWE take notice. Mania 30, honestly, could be Dolph Ziggler vs. Cody Rhodes, and if the next few years play out well, it could be really awesome.
Seriously, he and Dolph Ziggler are two guys I think are on the cusp of being properly made, and will be the ones to be at the top of the next generation along with Punk.
On a side note, Legacy succumbed to the Rockers effect. Everyone thought Ted was going to be the one to break out and make a name for himself, but right now, Cody's the one who has a clear future in the company long-term while Ted flounders on Superstars and tries to get himself noticed by holding tailgating parties.
