Funny, I thought it was even worse than last week's show.
Due to the hockey game I stayed up to watch the replay. I wish I would have stopped watching after the tag title match, everything after that was bad.
I liked how they did the tag switch. It was the perfect place to do it, and they actually had La Res beat Edge, which made them look good. Plus, it sets up Edge vs Benoit which is the rumoured match for Vengeance. Hopefully they continue to build La Res, and make them look credible, which would help the tag division a lot.
I was reading all the other posts here, and I agree with a lot of the people who said Orton losing is a mistake. I understand what they were trying to do, but Orton should be on a path to win the World Title, as such he shouldn't be losing very much, if at all. I didn't mind Shelton winning in the tag match, but losing again really hurts Orton. They could have still made Shelton look good by coming close to beating Orton, but then lose in the end.
Victoria is really boring now, man they really screwed her over.
HHH video was pretty good, it showed his experience in HIAC, and how violent the match can be, so that was alright. And it was smart to keep HBK off the show, because he would have just been booed anyway.
The Eguene stuff comes off as a waste of time to me. I know people are having fun right now, but mark my words, in a short period of time nobody will care about him, and all this time will have been wasted.
Speaking of retards, who booked the main event? This has to be the worst build to a World Title match in the history of pro wrestling. Kane has been a jobber since last Fall (with Shane), he gets squashed by Taker at Mania, loses to Edge at Backlash, and then wins a #1 contender Battle Royal without actually winning the match. Then the only angle they can come up with for Kane-Benoit is that Kane is upset because Benoit is normal....And now on top of that, Kane couldn't beat the retard. Sad. And the only heat Benoit-Kane have is because Benoit is defending his mental lightweight friend. This story makes JBL-Eddie look like The Godfather.
The whole Tomko-Jericho thing is very sad for Mr Jericho. As Ive been saying, this whole program has done a ton of damage to his character. And now we are going to have to watch him try to get a match out of Tomko. Again, sad.
Poor effort, its fortunate they have HIAC on the next PPV, because I cant imagine why anyone would order that show given the build.
