Most classical music is not, realistically, "epic." The O Fortunas and Beethoven's Fifths tend to actually be few and far between, actually.

There really is no "natural musical sense," so I'm assuming that just means "whatever I want it to mean" as well.

But that's cool if you want it to be that way. I just think it's silly to preclude something like O Fortuna as "epic" due to the length. I guess that's part of my definition. So I asked a question.
