The Freak stays in San Francisco for the time being. 2-years, $40.5 mil.

O's sign Wilson Betemit to a 2-year deal with a vesting option for '14. $3 mil. guaranted, he can get up to $6 mil.

Jon Heyman reports J.D. Drew is "very likely" to retire.

EDIT: Tony La Russa will be back to manage the NL squad for the All-Star Game. He joins John McGraw as the only managers to retire from the game, but come back to manage an All-Star Game.
