For The Destor:
1. what is your take on the present state of the wrestling forum, particularly the quality of the regular posters?
It's been going downhill. There are some good new posters, but for the most part long-standing members are the ones that bring the quality.
2. same question but instead of the forum the present state of wrestling?
I think wrestling, right now, is the hottest it's been since the Attitude Era. That isn't to say it's on that level, but from 2005-2009 it felt stagnant. It feels like WWE is growing in a decent direction when it comes to their up and comers and they're definitely seeing the light on some issues.
TNA I won't comment on as I barely pay attention, but I do think that the Ring Ka King thing is a good thing and is allowing TNA to branch out internationally and establishing a secondary brand that is a world in itself, something WWE would never do. It's definitely something to watch, not only for Ring Ka King but if they decide to branch out to other territories.
As for the Indies, with iPPV growing strong it's definitely a new dawn for that part of the industry, and with the internet they're allowed to branch out and be known in more productive ways than ever.
So yeah, it's a really good time to be a fan because so much is so easily accessible (versus, say, tape trading) and there's a lot of good stuff out there on multiple levels.
