I think Kane had "embraced hate" by 1998 when he set Undertaker's casket on fire, and then faced him at WrestleMania 14.

AND in 2003 when he helped Mr McMahon bury the Undertaker alive at Survivor Series 2003, after which Undertaker came back as "The Deadman" at WrestleMania 20.

If that happened, Undertaker would be like "Dude, you've tried to end my career before, and you failed twice!"
